The Healing & Intercessory Ministry (HIM) is called to actively conduct prayer for healing, and intercessory prayer.

Prayer for Healing
​
God's great commission is to go out into the world to preach the good news and pray for healing and casting out demons. (Mk 16:15, 17-18, Mt 10:1, 7-8)
Healing is essentially connected with preaching the good news as healing is actually breaking evil and suffering in this world. In response to this call, the team composed of healing prayer ministers, must rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to be instruments of God’s healing power and love. For God can indeed work miracles of healing (spiritual, physical, inner, and deliverance from evil spirits) through Jesus Christ, the Divine Healer.

The healing prayer ministers, who have attended a series of seminar on healing by Francis and Judith Mac Nutt (Christian Healing Ministries-School of Healing Prayer), follow this simple rule: listen, love, pray, and let God do the rest. The ministers work in teams to pray over for people just as Jesus and the disciples prayed for the sick, the suffering and the broken hearted, by laying hands and praying for and/or with them.
The team members are available to serve before and after each Community Assembly. The team may also be asked to join any FFCC Men’s Group/Women’s Group meeting to pray with them. Furthermore, sick individual needing special prayer at home, hospital, hospice or senior’s centre can request for the team’s visit.

Intercessory Prayer
